Trigger Point Injections

Trigger point injections are an effective treatment used to relieve pain and muscle tension caused by tight knots, or trigger points, in the muscles. At our men’s clinic, we combine trigger point injections with TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) therapy for enhanced results. After the injection, which delivers a small amount of anesthetic or anti-inflammatory medication directly into the trigger point, the TENS unit is used to further relax the muscles and stimulate healing. This combination therapy helps improve blood flow, reduce pain, and restore mobility, providing our patients with a comprehensive approach to managing muscle tension and chronic pain. This treatment is particularly effective for men dealing with chronic pain conditions, stress-induced muscle tension, or injuries from physical activity.
